At Village Care, our multidisciplinary team brings decades of combined experience in substance use treatment, mental health care, and trauma-informed healing. We work collaboratively to create a structured, supportive environment where individuals can stabilize, grow, and rebuild their lives in recovery.

Brittany Aina is the Program Director and Co-Founder of Village Care. She holds a Master of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Business, combining clinical knowledge with operational leadership to build structured, recovery-focused programs that support long-term stability.

Brittany has experience in case management, crisis intervention, intake coordination, and group facilitation. Her work focuses on creating structured environments where individuals can stabilize, develop accountability, and build practical life skills that support lasting recovery. She is committed to ensuring that Village Care maintains high standards of care, collaboration, and individualized treatment planning.

As a leader, Brittany is passionate about empowering individuals to rebuild confidence, purpose, and independence. She works closely with the clinical and residential teams to ensure each client receives consistent support, clear expectations, and a path forward beyond treatment.

Bonnie Monfils is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides clinical and therapeutic support to clients at Village Care. She has experience working with diverse populations in community and clinical settings and is dedicated to helping individuals improve emotional well-being, process trauma, and build healthy, sustainable lives in recovery.

Bonnie utilizes evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), polyvagal-informed practices, and other modalities that support nervous system regulation and long-term healing. Her work focuses on helping clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and address underlying mental health needs that impact recovery.

At Village Care, Bonnie collaborates closely with the treatment team to support each client’s individualized treatment goals and promote long-term stability, growth, and overall wellness.

Barbara Anne Senzee is a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor registered with CAADE, with over 20 years of experience working in the addiction treatment field. She is committed to helping individuals build a strong foundation in recovery by developing practical coping skills, strengthening accountability, and supporting meaningful lifestyle change.

Barbara has worked with individuals at many stages of recovery and is passionate about guiding clients through the process of healing, growth, and rebuilding their lives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Correctional Programs and Services, strengthening her understanding of the unique challenges many individuals in recovery face.

At Village Care, Barbara facilitates groups, provides counseling support, and works closely with the treatment team to help clients develop the skills and confidence needed for long-term recovery and personal growth.

MichelleAnn Nazario  has been in recovery since 2012 and is a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) currently working toward full certification as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. With lived experience in recovery, she brings a compassionate, trauma informed approach to her work, focusing on emotional regulation, accountability, and personal growth.

Her work integrates group facilitation, peer support, and life skills development, helping individuals build structure, self awareness, and healthier coping mechanisms. Michelle is passionate about creating safe, empowering environments where individuals can process past experiences, develop resilience, and move forward with clarity and purpose.

As a leader and mentor, she is committed to guiding others toward lasting recovery by combining practical tools, spiritual principles, and real life experience. Her mission is to help individuals rebuild confidence, restore their sense of self, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Michael Desposito serves as House Manager at Village Care and is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). He is passionate about helping others and plays an important role in maintaining the structure, safety, and consistency of the residential environment. Michael works closely with residents to reinforce routines, expectations, and accountability, helping create a stable and supportive setting for recovery.

Provides mentorship, recovery support, and group facilitation.

Monique Garbe is a certified Peer Support Specialist who supports clients in building daily structure, strengthening recovery skills, and navigating early sobriety. She has experience working in sober living environments and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work to further expand her ability to serve individuals in recovery. At Village Care, Monique provides encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance to help clients remain engaged in their recovery process.

Carol Patterson is the Co‑Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Village Care, where she leads the organization’s business operations, financial planning, and long‑term strategic development. She is dedicated to building a stable, ethical, and efficient organizational structure that supports high‑quality services and a healing environment for residents.

With extensive experience in business management and operational leadership, Carol ensures that Village Care maintains strong financial systems, effective policies, and scalable programs. Her work centers on strengthening infrastructure, expanding partnerships, and guiding the organization’s growth to meet evolving community needs.

Carol collaborates closely with the leadership and clinical teams to align business strategy with mission-driven outcomes, ensuring every program is built on integrity, sustainability, and excellence. Her commitment to sound stewardship and organizational innovation helps Village Care remain a trusted, healing, and forward‑thinking community.

Gene Jenkins brings extensive training in supply oversight, and housing operations to Village Care. With a background in advanced food management, inventory control, and military housing systems, he ensures that our kitchen, supplies, and facility operations run efficiently and meet program standards.

At Village Care, Gene supports the overall structure and comfort of the residential environment by maintaining organized systems, coordinating essential supplies, and helping create a consistent, reliable atmosphere that promotes resident well‑being.
